Founder, Nutrition & Kick-starting things | zuzanna@harvestcare.eu Zuzanna began her journey in sustainable entrepreneurship while still at university. During her Global Nutrition and Health studies in Denmark, she initiated a start-up that upcycles coffee waste into food. Her passion for soil, ecosystems, and food has led her to Fresh Venture Studio in Rotterdam, where HarvestCare was incubated. Zuzanna employs systems thinking to integrate food-as-medicine models into European healthcare. This approach aims to combat the pandemic of chronic diseases while supporting the transition to a regenerative food system.

Co-founder, Economy & Farming | anne@harvestcare.eu Anne’s journey into agriculture grew from personal roots and professional insight. With a Master’s in Digital Business and Innovation (VU Amsterdam) and experience at an investment platform, she realised her path lay in creating meaningful change. Switching careers and studying organic agriculture in Denmark deepened her understanding of regenerative practices. She combined her economics background with global farming experience, which solidified her mission: to build resilient food systems, empower farmers and improve community health. In HarvestCare, Anne works to create a Dutch living lab to explore outcome-based payments for food prescriptions, driving systemic change in food and healthcare.

Program manager, Getting things done | nine@harvestcare.eu Nine studied Industrial Design at TU Delft, but she developed a passion for sustainable food systems early on. For over five years, she was head of operations at Rechstreext, a short supply chain sourcing food directly from local farmers in Rotterdam. As part of her initiative, she promoted the connection between urban and peri-urban areas, using food-inspired bike rides to farms. Nine, as a program coordinator of Food Pharmacy, organizes food delivery, coordinates day-to-day activities, and ensures a smooth and enjoyable process for petticoats and our partners. Zuzanna says, "Nine is awesome!" (She is also brewing sustainable local oat milk in one of her projects—stay tuned!)
