Restoring

Mission

Our mission is to create projects connecting regenerative farms with healthcare interventions.

HarvestCare facilitates food-is-medicine models using the Food Pharmacy framework, which provides chronically ill patinets with food prescriptions and support from health professionals to mitigate and reverse their conditions.

We work with farmers, community members, and doctors to create a healthcare system rooted in the communities' hearts.

Vision

We want to live in a world where food is an integral part of the healthcare system.

We want every person to have access to affordable, nutritious food and support to incorporate healthy eating habits into their lives.

We want all of the food supply chains to support local bioregional regeneration, which revitalizes local ecosystems, communities, and economies.

It features three main activity sections: Food Pharmacy Programs, Food is Medicine Movement, and Innovative Finance Mechanisms. The outcomes include reduced chronic illness and increased access to nutritious food, leading to impacts like improved health and wellbeing, regenerative food systems, and livelihoods for farmers.
